Meditation

I feel meditation is such an important part of our lives, even if we only do it for five minutes a day, we will reap the rewards

Meditation can be done whilst standing, walking, sitting, lying down, with open or closed eyes, there are no set rules.  Meditation will set us up for the day ahead, connect us to our higher self, which will in turn help us along our journey of self discovery and re-connect us to mother earth and the universe.

Mindfulness Meditation is  a simple process of discovery via training the mind in kindness and compassion. Free your mind, free your heart, unshackle yourselves.

How many of us actually think about breathing? every breath we take and how important this is.  When we meditate, we are conscious of our breath and the breath of the horses around us.

Come and breath in harmony with the herd.

In buddhism the horse is symbolic of energy and effort in the practice of dharma. It also symbolises the air or prana which runs through the channels of the body and is the vehicle of the mind.

Legends told throughout the Far East, Central Asia, Europe and Middle, horses were considered mediums between the Spirit and Material worlds. A Celtic tribe used a white mare as an Oracle. Arabic tales exalted the horse`s sixth sense.  Horses were also perceived as carrying riders between the seen and unseen realms or leading people to some from of lost knowledge.  Modern Yakut Shamans wouldn`t dream of visiting the Otherworld without the aid of their horses.

Horses live in harmony with nature and in doing so they offer a powerful pathway to reconnect with the natural world. Meditating with horses will guide you on your journey of discovery as they encourage you to 'be in the moment'. They have an amazing way of transforming youmentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.
